Starting Over (1979) features Burt Reynolds and Jill Clayburgh. After his marriage falls apart, a newly single man tries to rebuild his life while developing a relationship with a schoolteacher. His ex-wife's unexpected return makes moving forward more complicated. Burt Reynolds shows a quieter comic side in this romantic drama. Its gentle humor grows from the awkwardness of discovering what love looks like after a painful separation.
