Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 (1983) features Jackie Gleason and Jerry Reed. Sheriff Buford T. Justice takes on a new cross-country challenge that draws him into more highway chases, elaborate tricks and battles with the law. Jerry Reed returns as Cledus Snow, while Jackie Gleason brings the sheriff’s blustering determination to the foreground. This third installment continues the series’ fascination with fast cars, CB-radio culture and comic confrontations across Southern roads.
